Groups operating in especially hostile reigons, in areas without harm reduction services, or without institutional funding.

Organizations with stable funding, departmental staff, operating without the necessity of unpaid labor may not qualify for STEP discounts.

Groups with STEP status can take part in a monthly technical assistance call designed to connect similar sized outreach groups. Guest speakers will join to discuss outreach safety, harm reduction approaches, and distribution challenges.

Attendance is not mandatory.

STEP status lasts up to 12 months.

Smoke Works asks for quarterly check-ins to review your growth, as the purpose of the program is to help expand your outreach.

Accounts' STEP status is based on need and our ability to provide.
